The above was tweeted by Nigeria's former aviation minister, Femi Fani Kayode in reaction to the continued incaceration of activist, Deji Adeyanju and Senator Dino Melaye's troubles with Nigerian police over an alleged homicide.

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Wednesday declared Nyesome Wike of the People’s Democratic Party winner of the governorship election in Rivers state.  Wike polled 886,264 votes to beat the candidate of the African Alliance Congress, Biokpomabo Awara who emerged first runner-up. After being declared winner, Governor Nyesom Wike on Wednesday dedicated his victory to God and the good people of the state for standing by the PDP despite the illegal actions of the enemies of democracy.
